Throughout the pandemic, although we have been able to continue to trade as an online retailer, taking and creating orders as normal, we have and may continue to experience delays with our shipping partners due to disruptions caused by Covid-19.

HANDLING TIMES

We strive to create and dispatch your beautiful keepsake jewellery as quickly as possible with the utmost care, we want you to be as excited by your items as we are here at the TLKC studio!

We aim to keep our handling time for all orders to the same working day that your order is placed but during peak times this handling time may be up to 3 working days.

Please note that if we require specifications or files to complete your personalised or engraved order (e.g. hand print photos, baby scan images, handwriting samples, engraving specifications) then our handling time will commence once we have confirmation of these details.

If you require your items urgently, please select one of our Express Fast Track services and place your order before 3pm. This will ensure your order is created and dispatched the same working day for guaranteed delivery by 1pm the next day.

Please note that our UK shipping services are fulfilled by either Royal Mail or DPD, with international and overseas shipments fulfilled by DHL. Under circumstances due to natural disasters or pandemics we are unable to accept responsibility for late delivery.

UK SHIPPING OPTIONS

We offer the following delivery services to deliveries made within the UK:

The below delivery options are fulfilled by Royal Mail for your peace of mind and security as Royal Mail has the very best rate of accuracy for delivery.


Economy Shipping – (order value under £50) – Delivery within 1-5 working days.

This option is fulfilled by Royal Mail’s RM24 postage service and most often arrives within 2 working days from confirmation of dispatch – although this is not guaranteed. Please note that this is an untracked service and we will not be able to provide updates between dispatch and delivery.


Premium Tracked Delivery – (free for orders over £50) Delivery within 1-3 working days.

This option is fulfilled by Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 service and most often arrives within 1 working day from confirmation of dispatch – although this is not guaranteed. This is a fully tracked service and includes proof of delivery.


Next Day Delivery –  Delivery the next day (if selected and ordered before 3pm Monday-Thursday.  Orders placed after these days/times will be dispatched the next working day)

This option is fulfilled by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service and is guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the next working day if your order is placed before 3pm. This is a fully tracked service which requires a signature and includes proof of delivery.

If there is no-one available to sign for the parcel it will be taken to your local delivery office for collection. A calling card will be left at your delivery address, you can then re-arrange a second attempt to deliver if you prefer.

Express Fast Track Saturday Delivery – Delivery guaranteed by 1pm the next day (Saturday) from the day of order (Friday).  Delivery the next day (if selected and ordered before 3pm on Friday.  Orders placed after these days/times will be dispatched the next working day after the weekend)

This option is fulfilled by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service and is guaranteed to arrive by 1pm on Saturday if your order is placed by 3pm on Friday. This is a fully tracked service which requires a signature and includes proof of delivery.

If there is no-one available to sign for the parcel it will be taken to your local delivery office for collection. A calling card will be left at your delivery address, you can then re-arrange a second attempt to deliver if you prefer.

Only our Express Fast Track services will require a signature upon delivery.


DPD is one of the UK’s leading time-critical carriers and offers additional notifications with information systems to provide a seamless service.


DPD Express – Delivery the next day (if selected and ordered before 3pm Monday-Thursday.  Orders placed after these days/times will be dispatched the next working day).

This option is fulfilled by DPD’s NEXT DAY service and is guaranteed to arrive by close of business the next working day if your order is placed before 3pm. Once dispatched you will be able to track your parcel all the way on a live map with a final 1 hour delivery timeslot.

Once you receive your one hour delivery notification via SMS or email, you will have the option to have your parcel delivered safely to a neighbour.  If they are unable to deliver to you or your neighbour you will receive a calling card, SMS or email where you can re-arrange your delivery.


OVERSEAS SHIPPING OPTIONS

We offer the following delivery services  to deliveries made overseas, outside of the UK:

We provide DHL shipping options for quicker and more reliable overseas shipments, with online tracking updates provided.


DHL GlobalMail Tracked – Aims to deliver within 3 working days from confirmation of dispatch.

Once dispatched DHL will aim to deliver your parcel within 3 working days.  This service provides an online automatic tracking system when you can track the current status of your order. 


DHL EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY – Same day dispatch (if selected and ordered before 3pm Monday-Thursday.  Orders placed after these days/times will be dispatched the next working day)

Once dispatched, DHL will aim to deliver your parcel within 2-3 working days.  This service provides an online automatic tracking system when you can track the current status of your order. 


PLEASE ENSURE…

Please ensure you double check the details of your delivery address as you order. If your delivery address is incorrect due to customer error we are unable to accept liability for items delivered to an incorrect address.

Please ensure your Paypal delivery address is up to date when using Paypal Express Checkout. If your Paypal delivery address is incorrect due to customer error we are unable to accept liability for items delivered to an incorrect address.

Please note we do not recommend using a business address as a delivery address. If a customer chooses to deliver an order to a business address it is at their own risk. The tracked delivery services we offer will only track your order to a specified delivery address, we are unable to accept liability for items lost within a business or workplace.


NOTIFICATIONS AND TRACKING

For every order placed you should receive an email from us confirming your order and it’s details. Once your order has been created and is ready to be shipped, you will receive a second email from us confirming dispatch.  If you have selected a tracked service, your email confirming dispatch will include a tracking or reference number.  You will be able to use this to track your parcel online with the courier you have selected.

If you have not received any emails from us, please do check your junk inbox before contacting us.  If you payed via PayPal using a different email address, please ensure you also check here too.

For tracked services, your order is scanned throughout the delivery process which means your parcel can be tracked at every step of the way. The majority of orders are dispatched in letterbox friendly packaging which means that even if you are not home, your item can still be safely delivered with proof of delivery.
